Advice for Success From a Twin

Some of my advice for success: (by Julie)

🌟Find something you care about more than the fear of failure.

🌟80% of success is psychology and mindset

🌟Have your mission.

🌟Be courageous. Feel the fear and do it anyway.

🌟Step out of your comfort zone and begin to feel exhilarated by it!

🌟Don’t negotiate with yourself.

🌟Find role models. Surround yourself with people who have what you want: mentally, spiritually, financially ...all of it.

🌟Be as generous as you are committed.

🌟Find someone worse off and help them.

🌟Begin today. Get to it! Stop procrastinating and making excuses. 🌟Don’t wait for someday. Or you’ll end up looking back over your life wondering where the time went.

🌟Don’t wait to have it all planned out. Even great plans will need to be changed along the way.

🌟Expect struggles and setbacks. View these challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.

🌟Work on your mindset and your personal development every day...as if your life depended on it.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1 )

Dogs on Instagram: Prancer, the Chihuaha

This is Prancer, but you may know him better as “the vessel for a traumatized Victorian child.” He went viral earlier this month when his foster parent posted a brutally honest adoption ad for him. Well, we are excited to share it worked! Prancer was adopted last week and is settling nicely in his forever home: one without men, children, or anything else he can’t h*ckin stand. 14/10 congratulations buddy ❤️ (follow @prancerthechihuahua) -- IG: We Rate Dogs

🐾He protecc, he attacc, if the adoptees are men, pets, or children, they better take him bacc! 😂

The New, Pretty Billionaire

"Not bad for a girl with no talent." - KK

With KKW Beauty and popular shapewear firm Skims, Kardashian West’s net worth increases to $1 billion, earning her a spot on Forbes’ World’s Billionaires List.

Forbes

When Kim Kardashian West was first mentioned in the pages of Forbes in 2011, it was simply a tally of her Twitter followers: 6.6 million, just below Barack Obama and just above Ashton Kutcher. Five years later, she graced the cover of Forbes thanks to her booming mobile game, which helped her earn $51 million that year. Now, she officially joins the World’s Billionaires list for the first time.

Forbes estimates that Kardashian West is now worth $1 billion, up from $780 million in October, thanks to two lucrative businesses—KKW Beauty and Skims—as well as cash from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments.FORBES

MacKenzie-Childs: Istanbul, Turkey

MacKenzie-Childs_Turkey  posts some of the best pictures under the MC hashtag on Instagram.  Of course we had to pay the store a visit on our recent trip to Istanbul!  The taxi ride to the place took far longer using google maps on my phone (we were careful because we did not want to get lost in a strange city). Going back took half the time and cost once we left it up to the Driver to figure things out.  You live and learn!

The store's busy location is within the modern, high-rise portion of the city. I even saw an Hermes store not too far away. Rent must be sky-high, thus their prices were on par with prices here in the USA.  No clearance section that I could discern. I found an MC table runner that was theirs exclusively and that's what I purchased.

infamous Vespa in courtly-check!

Our Visit to The Louvre Museum, Paris France

Europe on my mind. When do we see you again, Paris?!!

who knew no sin; that we might be made

Keeping Your Cool During the Heat of Summer With No Air Conditioner

Winter will be here soon!

I grew up in a tropical, Asian country.  I survived the oppressive heat by dressing appropriately and lots of activity/swimming by the Rivers and Streams nearby. Eating lots of fresh fruit quenched my thirst. Being young and in excellent health also played a big role.

Currently melting away from the intense heat coz of no A/C. I'm seriously thinking about dumping buckets of ice in the tub and soaking in it.❄️ Is it hot where you're at today? My mood is SO cranky from the heat! I got curious and did some research. Here's a few fun facts about heat affecting your mood:

🔥 Heat triggers feelings of agitation
🔥 High humidity can lower concentration
🔥 All of this leads to poor sleep and decreased energy which then makes you more cranky and depressed.

So what can you do to beat the heat besides cranking up the A/C? Take a cue from the ancient Greeks and Japanese Shinto monks by taking a COLD shower. There are so many great benefits like

❄️ increased alertness
❄️refined skin and hair
❄️ease stress and anxiety
❄️ improves circulation
❄️ adds happy endorphins!

So don't mind me while I head to the shower and soak in cool hydrotherapy to get my mood back on track! Stay cool my friends🌬️
