Yorkshire Terrier: Pablo @ 20 Weeks to 25 Weeks Old (Yorkie)

Pablo
🐾 Pup is getting bigger, cuter, calmer, but his bold personality comes through and has never left.  His loud bark is as persistent as ever.

Thinking about neutering him soon. My Manicurist expressed interest in breeding him with one of her client's dogs. Yet even at six pounds -- smallish to me -- Pablo is simply too "big" to mate with a  teacup Yorkie.

BARK: Kirkland Dog Park Party Pack

Our Pup needed more toys. I noticed his love of crinkly sounds, but he, unfortunately, likes to tear things apart.

A quick search led me to this:  A 4-piece, inexpensive ($21.99) set. Each is a SQUEAKER, packed with FLUFF, and CRINKLE - yay! Their sturdiness will reveal itself in time.

Pet Life: The 6 Best Dog Beds

Our newest Pup has the option of sleeping on any bed in the house including our laps -- but not the option of the use of our human beds.  Not ready for that kind of spoiling yet 😁 Below is a link to Domino Magazine's choice of the best 6 dog beds.

lap dog!

Dogs on Instagram: Prancer, the Chihuaha

This is Prancer, but you may know him better as “the vessel for a traumatized Victorian child.” He went viral earlier this month when his foster parent posted a brutally honest adoption ad for him. Well, we are excited to share it worked! Prancer was adopted last week and is settling nicely in his forever home: one without men, children, or anything else he can’t h*ckin stand. 14/10 congratulations buddy ❤️ (follow @prancerthechihuahua) -- IG: We Rate Dogs

🐾He protecc, he attacc, if the adoptees are men, pets, or children, they better take him bacc! 😂

Pet Life: Snoot Hoot Frenchie Funny Friday

Sorry for her choice of words .... So I’m sitting there playing with Lenny as you do..until something on the floor caught my attention. I had no idea what it was, so I picked him up and put him outside to assess the situation further. I had a closer look only to discover what was his nose that had fallen off and was just lying there on the floor. His actual nose was on the fucking floor. I started freaking out thinking he’s never going to sniff piss again on his walks and I know he loves doing that, I was thinking he must be in pain, I was also thinking how on earth am I going to tell my mum that whilst in my care - the dogs nose has managed to fall off.

Anyway, I eventually plucked up the courage to pick it up because I thought nah surely not, this cannot be...only to then realize he’s bitten the nose off one of his soft toys and his nose still remains.

Lennys nose is in full working order and completely attached to his face, where it should be. Thank fuck for that. Need a beer or 10 after that moment of panic👃🏼🐶🍻

Pet Life: Rescued Shih Tzu Dog's Haircut in the News

An 11-pound Shih Tzu named Ellie Mae had 9 pounds of matted hair removed from her tiny body after being rescued by the Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) in one of “the worst” needs for a haircut the shelter had ever seen. Five hours after the procedure, the brave dog took her first steps outside and the organization says she is “doing better than ever — she seems like a whole new dog.” - FoxNews

2018 The Year of the Dog

As the year wraps up, here are just a few of our favorite doggy-pup moments:

River listening to Piano music at our home for the very first time in her young life.

Felt perplexed. Not sure what to make of this "noise".

Could not yet get quite as relaxed as her cousin-pups.

met this cute French Bulldog. I want!
Had to say goodbye to the one-and-only, Yoshi. Miss him soooo much!
River's big sis, Luna.  She would like to say hi
to kitty if it weren't for these scary stairs
