MacKenzie Childs: My Dedicated Coffee Station

A coffee station/coffee bar has been on my bucket list since joining Instagram. People show their love of dedicated coffee stations there. Most likely staged, but still ...
Which coffee are you?

The stations can be as expensive, large, and elaborate as can be.  Mine is small in size and simple:  electric Gevalia coffee maker on a white metal cart; sugar & creamer, flavor bottles and towels on the side.

However, I am the proud owner of a cool-looking, bright coffee light by MacKenzie-Childs ; and a Hobby Lobby coffee sign (plus my favorite Hobby Lobby mirror close by).  Yep, a little bit of daily coffee will do, but a WHOLE LOT more of  the Lord Jesus Christ.  Fill me up, Lord.  Every day. All the day.

Water equals Money

Water in the news: Take a look at what's going on in California.  The current Governor, Jerry Brown, just signed a new law in May, 2018, which states in part:
Establishing an indoor, per person water use goal of 55 gallons per day until 2025 52.5 gallons from 2025 to 2030 and 50 gallons beginning in 2030.

The California consumer will ultimately be paying the huge fines under this onerous law.  Boooo.  There must be a better way.  Maybe the first step is to get Democrats out of positions of power?!!

Summer Heat: Free Way to Cool Off

We barely got home from our walk with our pet, Mr Bubbles, when it began to rain. Yay, thank God for relief from the oppressive heat and humidity of the past week. As I got out of my wet clothes, the house became suddenly quiet. Where are my children? Why, outside, of course, enjoying the cooling rain. And ...horrors....actually holding hands in their fun and excitement ;-)

With or without umbrellas, I've never minded being in the rain, playing in the rain, or rain in general. The more intense the storm, the better. Times like these brings back happy memories of my childhood in the Tropics. No worries about looking like a fool, cleanliness, or infection (I thank the Lord for Tetanus shots, though); just acting like a child because you ARE a child, and enjoying the thrill of the moment. Cheap fun, courtesy of God and nature.
