So proud of this Filipina lady -- quite the popular top-tier Designer the world over.  What I could afford and needed is what I bought, but her other stuff is very beautiful. Just look at the outside of the box of her simple candle with Agraria!

Pro Life: Singer Joy Villa

I like this gutsy gal!  Never heard of her before Mr Trump's election, but I and many more have heard of her by now.

Singer & Trump Supporter Joy Villa Donned a Brilliant Pro-Life Dress Sure to Tick Off Every Leftist at Daytime Emmys - by C Douglas Golden, Conservative Tribune

When it comes to conservative performance art, Joy Villa’s red carpet appearances are a thing of genius.
It all began with her “Make America Great Again” dress at the Grammys in February 2017. That’s when the Trump-fueled outrage of the left was still election-fresh and the merest fact that she had the courage to show support for the new president created a hue and cry unlike any other in Hollywood. You could hear the gnashing of dental implants and the rending of Issey Miyake originals.
And among conservatives, we were all, like, “well done.”
Villa didn’t stop the trigger-fest there, however. Some of her more recent fashion statements have not only been pro-Trump but have also been in support of the unborn, another issue that gives Tinseltown a collective case of hypertension.
And, at the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday in Pasadena, Villa sent a few sphygmomanometers off the charts.

Dog Quote on Ralph Waldo Emerson's Birthday

It's Ralph Waldo Emerson's birthday!!

A fave quote:

The earth laughs in flowers.

Another favourite quote by RWE:

"There is another reason for dressing well,
namely that dogs respect it;
and will not attack you in good clothes."

LoL!

I want to attack this well-dressed
doggy with kisses!

Lipstick?! Oh, you mean Lipstik...More on Youthful Living & Rejoicing in the Lord; Mr Schindler's list

Rejoice in the Lord alway:
and again I say, Rejoice  ~ Philippians 4:4

Another entry on youthfulness...I am always amazed at how children are generally happy.  And active.  Here's Farrah being/doing both after her Piano lesson.  She's wearing her Lipstik brand shoes.

Don't forget to scroll down to Mr Schindler's list (Ha!) on how to be happy.
I like lists. It gives me something concrete, something I can check off.  The problem is, can I check ALL of it off ?  It then starts me on the road to comparing myself with others.  Or feeing down when I am just not able to do it.  The cure is to focus on the ultimate source of my joy:  the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. This joy/happiness is not dependent on my feelings, abilities, possessions, nor circumstances. It's based on Him who lives and reigns; the King of kings and Lord of lords --the unchangeable, faithful One.

HOW TO LIVE A HUNDRED YEARS HAPPILY
by John A. Schindler

Do not be on the lookout for ill health.  Keep usefully at work.  Have a hobby.  Learn to be satisfied.  Keep on liking people.  Meet adversity valiantly.  Meet the little problems of life with decision.  Above all, maintain a good sense of humor, best done by saying something pleasant every time you get a chance.  Live and make the present hour pleasant and cheerful.  Keep your mind out of the past, and keep it out of the future.

More on Duct Tape: Hats, Shoes, Wallet -- you name it

Friday Night was the start of a Christian Women's Conference at the Campground in Wisconsin. Jared has, once again, volunteered to work at the Camp kitchen.

...by love serve one another.
~ Galatians 5:13

The place holds good memories for him. He learned how to be a really good dishwasher. Through his newly-found friends, he also learned the many uses of duct tape. He has since passed on that skill to his siblings. Stuck on an island, lost in the jungles, or wiling away the hours at a place in the middle of nowhere, they will never lack for accessories with duct tape in hand. Take a look ---

Watch out, Cindy Lauper!

Watch out, Girls!

Go out there, ladies, and buy yourselves some leggings, short skirts, cropped vests, fedora hats and preppy shirts. Add to the heap anything that is outlandish, bold, or bright!

I can't picture myself ever having worn the above style over 20 years ago, but, hey, it sure looks cute on the young 'uns nowadays. Go, Hannah!
