More on Duct Tape: Hats, Shoes, Wallet -- you name it

Friday Night was the start of a Christian Women's Conference at the Campground in Wisconsin. Jared has, once again, volunteered to work at the Camp kitchen.

The place holds good memories for him. He learned how to be a really good dishwasher. Through his newly-found friends, he also learned the many uses of duct tape. He has since passed on that skill to his siblings. Stuck on an island, lost in the jungles, or wiling away the hours at a place in the middle of nowhere, they will never lack for accessories with duct tape in hand. Take a look ---

Message from Summer Camp: Send Duct Tape

DS' text message from Youth Camp read:
We have a new roommate. Send duct tape.

So, what does this mean???
1. The new roommate snores quite loudly. They will silence the bloke so that the rest of the guys can get a good night's rest and feel refreshed for the following day's camp chores.
or

2. The new roommate is abhorred and despised by all. They will tie him up like a mummy, and leave him outside the cabin to be eaten by Wisconsin Wolves.

The answer: neither of the above.
The duct tape will be used to make a new pair of shoes. Seems that socks covered with duct tape will make a handy, dandy, comfortable pair of water-proof shoes. And I thought DS wouldn't learn ANYTHING while working at camp! My bad.
