Funny Friday: Best Email of the Week for Texas

Funny Friday
I have a friend who is president of his Homeowners Association in the Dallas, Texas suburbs. They were having a terrible problem with litter near some of his Association's' homes. The reason, according to my friend, is that six very large, luxurious new houses are being built right next to their community.
pc: dailygazzette.com

The trash was coming from the Mexican laborers working at the construction sites and included bags from McDonald's, Burger King and 7-11, plus coffee cups, napkins, cigarette butts, coke cans, empty bottles, etc.

He went to see the site Supervisor and even the General Contractor, politely urging them to get their workers not to litter the neighborhood, to no avail. He called the city, county, and Police and got no help there either.

So here's what his community did.

They organized about twenty folks, named themselves the "Inner Neighborhood Services" group, and arranged to go out at lunch time and "police" the trash themselves. It is what they did while picking up the trash that is so hilarious.
They bought navy blue baseball caps and had the initials "INS" embroidered in gold on the caps.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what they hoped people might mistakenly think the letters really stand for.

After the Inner Neighborhood Services group's first lunch time pickup detail, with all of them wearing their caps and some carrying cameras, 46 out of the total of 68 construction workers did not show up for work the next morning, and haven't come back yet. It has been ten days now.
The General Contractor, I'm told, is madder than hell, but can't say anything publicly because he could be busted for hiring illegal aliens.

My friend and his bunch can't be accused of impersonating federal personnel, because they have the official name of the group recorded in their Homeowner Association minutes along with a notation about the vote to approve formation of the new subcommittee -- and besides, they informed the INS in advance of their plans, and according to my friend, the INS said basically, "Have a go at it!"

SO, FOLKS, I THINK YOU COULD SAY THAT TEXAS INGENUITY TRIUMPHS AGAIN!
Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes....... 12 million Illegal aliens are depending on you.

No apology for sending this! After hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. Nowhere did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration.
It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news Broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close.

Luncheon with Mexican Folk Dancers

These Dancers rent the facilities at our church.  Until a few days ago, we church members had only heard of them and not seen them IRL. Finally, a dance-show with luncheon was held at our church parking lot. It was about  color that day -- in food, and especially in costumes.

Folklorica Quetzaly charges a minimal amount for young (and old) to learn various traditional Mexican Dance routines during weekly lessons. The dance costumes are vibrant and varied(btw, the more elaborate the look of the dancer via costume, hair arrangement, jewelry and so on, the higher the standing in the community). Many of the home-made props are made with pride.  Most importantly, it becomes a worthy family affair as many Parents get involved, and the kids are kept busy and off the streets.

Trump Toilet Paper Will Provide Jobs for Mexicans

A Mexican businessman offended by presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign rhetoric will introduce “Trump” brand toilet paper this year. He is going to use a percentage of the revenue to help illegal immigrants and those deported, he claims.

Guanajuato lawyer Antonio Battaglia will market the product with the iconic image of the Trump golden coiffure placed atop a roll of toilet paper, reported Expansión, a CNN affiliate network. The Expansión reported that “[t]he offensive tone when referring to Mexicans during his campaign days heading for the United States presidency motivated Battaglia.” The publication mentioned Trump’s reference to “bad hombres,” a phrase the candidate used during a presidential debate in October 2016. As reported by Breitbart News, the use of the phrase was about drug dealers.
“It caused me a nuisance, and I started looking for a way to do something that had an impact, not in a tone of mockery or bad revenge, but in a positive way,” the Mexican lawyer and businessman told Expansión.
Battaglia, the grandson of Antonio Felix Battaglia, a professional football player in Argentina, said he tried to register a clothing or footwear line, but the “Trump” Brand is already registered. He and his family already have a shoemaking business.
Battaglia says he wants to produce a product at an affordable price and help those who are affected by the Trump Administration’s policies. Battaglia told the media outlet, “At the onset, I hope to allocate 30% of the profit to organizations in Guanajuato.” He says he will invest approximately 400,000 pesos but will entertain outside investors.
Battaglia says the biggest challenge is finding a producer because the market has been oversold. He found a company in Mexico to produce the product. The businessman claimed he is doing this because he became irritated at what he perceived as Trump’s attack on Mexican citizens during the campaign. However, he reportedly obtained registration of the mark in the Mexican Institute of the Industrial Property (IMPI) in August 2015.

Traitors @ Montebello High School !!

This really, really ticks me off,
and I happen to adore my Mexican neighbors!

Montebello High School  in California:  You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times, nor on the lead story of the major news networks. The protestors at Montebello High School took the American flag off of the school's flag pole and hung it upside down while putting up the Mexican flag over it.

Our fore fathers would have considered this an act of treason, not freedom of speech or expression. Treason! An act punishable by death...Wake up America!  Stop voting-in men & women who do not accept our constitution, but instead think that America needs to be "changed" into a soft, spineless, non sovereign nation.

SIU Weekend: Mexican Restaurant, Mohawk, Oakley Sunglasses & Sheraton

We left home at around 8:30 am.  Our first stop was at Kristi's old stompin' grounds --- ISU in Normal, Illinois.  Had Brunch at a Mexican Restaurant with Brian.  The main meal was called "Molcajeteada" -- a dish for two.  We only ordered two sets and though there were 8 of us, there was enough leftover for Brian to take home. I was impressed.  It was delicious, filling, and reasonably priced.  Here's the menu description for the dish---
Molcajeteada for two people:  2 different steaks, chicken breast, frescheese, grilled green onions, cactus, beans, pico de gallo, and tortillas
At around noon, we were once again on our way.  First stop near Edwardsville was our Sheraton Hotel.

Oakley Sunnies

Nice Mohawk!
