And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. (Matthew 18)

Home Renovation: The Making of our New Vinyl Corner Window(s), Part 3

GOALLet the sunshine in 🌞 to benefit us and our plants.  Our black & white tuxedo 🐈 Cat was curious as to the source of the very loud noise  😁

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84)

Meaningful DIY Christmas Gifts Received

 I felt very merry indeed after receiving these gifts -- made by hand by people whom I love:

Home-made:  Kombucha, Sourdough Bread;

plus appropriate accoutrements to make our own version of said items.  I am excited!

Our gift to them from Costco: Vacaville Fruit Company, 62 oz. Dried Fruit & Nut Basket

Sis & hubby planted and arranged these succulents in their home to give as gifts:

Our gift to Sis and BIL:

Behold, a virgin shall be with child,
and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is, God with us

My Recent MacKenzie-Childs Purchases

pc: Horchow
1.  Let me begin with this little cutie -- MC's Top Hat Snowman Pot Climber.  After all, it is approximately 5 months before Christmas 2020, God willing! Note: Can be used anytime of the year.

Mr Snowman is made of hand-painted resin.  My main worry is our pets bumping into it and toppling it. Resin is still breakable. Thus, location of plant is important.

3.  Courtly Check face mask made with Mackenzie Childs CC material (right).

4. Funny Bunny Pot Climber

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

Trending: House Plants and Trees in My Home

Hubby is a Promise Keeper:  I had told him I very much wanted a LIVE Christmas tree in 2020. He bought me not one, but two -- AFTER Christmas, of course -- at 75% off!

The trees need to be nurtured and cared for in order to thrive and be the correct height by the time December 2020 rolls around. I hope they do not get too tall as they can grow to over 160 feet tall in the wild, whoa. Also, they may be poisonous to animals, so Kitty must be watched.  I had never heard of these pine trees (which are not truly pine trees as they cannot tolerate low temperatures outdoors).
In summer it must not be exposed to the blazing sun; the temperature should not exceed 18 degrees Celsius (64 F). In winter, the plant needs a bright room that should be at least between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius (41-50 F).-- wikipedia
Introducing,  Araucaria Heterophylla, AKA, Norfolk Island Pine Tree .  The plant is sometimes referred to as a living Christmas tree. I imagine this to be what Charlie Brown would choose, LoL.

Care of Echeveria Plants

pc: COSTCO
My trio of succulents from COSTCO  became a duo, waaah!!

Bye, Bye, beautiful Echeveria Orion.  My ignorance and overwatering probably did it in. So, I had to try again with another Echeveria plant.

This time, I bought an  Echeveria Agavoides from Mariano's.

Here is a short article on the care and propagation of ECHEVERIA

Bottom line:
- do not overwater;
- watch out for MEALYBUGS
