Hobby Lobby: Giant Red Velvet Poinsettia Flower

Whoa! This over-sized red Poinsettia  caught my attention as I hurriedly made my way to Hobby Lobby's WC. It so attracted me that it remained on my mind and I decided to purchase it a day later. The fake flower's presence in the midst of our rather dull-looking plants instantly made them a part of our Christmas decor and festivities.

MacKenzie Childs: My Dedicated Coffee Station

A coffee station/coffee bar has been on my bucket list since joining Instagram. People show their love of dedicated coffee stations there. Most likely staged, but still ...
Which coffee are you?

The stations can be as expensive, large, and elaborate as can be.  Mine is small in size and simple:  electric Gevalia coffee maker on a white metal cart; sugar & creamer, flavor bottles and towels on the side.

However, I am the proud owner of a cool-looking, bright coffee light by MacKenzie-Childs ; and a Hobby Lobby coffee sign (plus my favorite Hobby Lobby mirror close by).  Yep, a little bit of daily coffee will do, but a WHOLE LOT more of  the Lord Jesus Christ.  Fill me up, Lord.  Every day. All the day.

Hubby Romeo and House Doors

While there has been a recent increase in hubby's company stock valuation (read about it H E R E) -- for which we are very thankful to the Lord -- there has also been a delightful decrease:

Fewer expenses for 2019- hooorah!! Dear hubby has blessed our lives once again.  In addition to his hard-working, sacrificial tendencies, he also has a talent for words fitly spoken, gifts (chosen by yourse truly, but always within reason, lol), or a lessening of my worries:

1.  Hubby let me do the choosing among the gifts offered by his company to commemorate his employment anniversary.  He "allows" me to wear the beautiful bracelet, ha!  (stock photo, gold/Peridot bracelet)

2. An extravagant-to-us Anthropologie light fixture became reality during our recent bathroom renovation -- just because *I* insisted.

3. What more can I add to this loving reminder through his email?

4. I was stressing about finding affordable doors to replace our very old (read: original), taped, discoloured, dilapidated storm doors.  He took the time to search and found a set in very good condition through Craigslist. He also painted and installed them himself. It took 2+ days!

Mirrors That are Good Enough to Hang as Art

Who does not love a pretty mirror?!!  Why not let them double as fine art too?  Some can cost an arm and a leg (mine were quite affordable).  Remember, there is always an option B, or an option C if you're watching your budget.
