Bath Renovation: Before & After, Bathroom #2

I just love how our bathroom renovation turned-out after 25+ years of doing nothing!  Being blessed with six kids to raise and support kinda changes your financial priorities. Not regretting that decision, but now I  no longer cringe when guests choose to use this CR.  No more dingy wall tiles, nor broken floor tiles, nor messed-up plumbing. It's almost-all new! Thank You, Lord.

Renovation: Popular Fish Scale Tiles in Your Home

This tile shape is so awesome that I have a couple of folders dedicated to fish-scales tiles on Instagram, Pinterest and elsewhere. Appealing, popular, and slightly more expensive than your average tile. I especially like them in the color blue.

Did not get to use these tiles in my own renovations this time around, but God willing, at another time.  They are that memorable!

Bathroom Renovation: Blue-Gray Colors

Hoorah. Glad bathrooms #1 & #2 are within range of this designer-favourite colour.
For Bathrooms
Just like a real spa, the bathroom can feel like a haven for relaxing and pampering with a tranquil and pretty shade of gray on the walls. "In a bathroom, I like the idea of using something fresh and clean, like one of my favorite grays, 'Wedding Band,' - Joanna Gaines (via House Beautiful

Muted tones of sienna or chalky gray/blues are a favourite of Heather Bullard, while New York-based designer Robin Wilson raves about a specific Behr shade called Drizzle. “I have seen it in a lot of properties that are staged for re-sale and it is a great neutral that allows the white to pop,” she says. The muted tone is a tranquil color that will make your space feel decidedly peaceful. - Domino Magazine

HOUZZ: The Two People Behind the Gorgeous Picture & Decor Ideas

HOUZZ was begun in 2009 by a real-life couple: Adi Tatarko and Alon Cohen.  They had found it difficult to do their home-remodelling project. Being no exception to the smart folk residing in Palo Alto, Cali, they thought:  Why not put everything on a website or do an App and let your fingers do the walking. Thus, the birth of Houzz.

Basically, there's a picture available on Houzz that captures your remodelling or building vision. Save it; click on its tagged items for purchase or for more info. There are many millions of pictures to peruse. You drool your way thru hundreds or thousands. Eventually, you choose/purchase the stuff of your dreams. You are happy, the merchant is happy, and Houzz makes a commission.  Simple.  Why didn't I think of it, haha?!!

The following pictures are a few that have inspired me during our Bath remodel.  Not that I actually purchased everything I'd ever desired, but I have many "Ideabooks" and I can continue to make future plans. May the best ideas come to pass, Lord willing!
