Nail Art: Part 4, Mellow Yellow in No-chip Nails

I've been drawn to the color YELLOW in the nail-world recently. Probably 'coz of Summer and sunny weather. It's a hope-full color, IMO, as if world is getting ready for an abundant harvest.  Similar to the color green in Springtime -- symbol of growth and new beginnings. 

Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere begins tomorrow, September 23rd.

Kitchen Renovation: Brazilian Cherry Wood Floor

We've come to appreciate pretty wood floors and had them installed in our main living areas during last year's renovation. We were happy to see that our son's apartment in Europe also came with pretty herringbone-patterned wood floors. 

We needed them for our kitchen floor!  We were worried that the same cherry floors we bought a year ago were no longer available. A match was needed since the walls are gone and it's become  an open-concept kitchen area. 

There were still many available, thank God. The price had increased slightly, though -- under $6 per sq foot to $6.39.

Hope for Actor Clint Bondad

I am a fan of model, Clint Bondad,  though just in the past year. 

 The Miss Universe contest brought him into my radar.  That, plus he is of German-Filipino descent  and was born in Germany (birthday, Sept 27th). So like like our beloved grandson! 

 As of this writing, he now admits to being the former BF of Miss Universe, Catriona Gray. Looks like she broke up with him even before the pageant. I am praying for Mr Bondad. Yes, he needs the Lord Jesus Christ  first and foremost, but he is also vulnerable to the lies of Satan that he is not good enough for Miss Gray nor for anyone else.  May God shield , strengthen and have mercy on CB.  May He direct Mr Bondad to the only rock-solid hope he will ever need in this life and in the life to come -- the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
