Hubby and our son recently went crabbing in Oregon and had a blast!  

Family members have held this annual event for the past 5 years; and this time they caught a record number of male crabs (all within the legal size limit).  

Of course I insisted that they fly home with what they could not consume. The number was so abundant -- even divided among 5 families -- that they filled a cooler. Thank You, Lord, for the abundance and safety. Delish!!

Real Estate: What $700k Will Buy

My Sis' is very happy. A couple of years back, her BFF had to move to a different state because of a job situation. Now bff/hubby/kids and pups have come back into the neighbourhood. They bought the lovely 3-bedroom home, below, within sight of my Sis' back deck.

My Sis' house is situated higher in elevation (better views); has 3-levels, 4 bedrooms, more interior square footage and has recent upgrades.

 So, is her home worth close to $1 million since her BFF's (smaller) house was purchased for $700k??  No. Not quite there yet, says she.

Labradoodle Dog

Combine a Labrador and a Poodle; and you get a Labradoodle.  Sadie looks like a teddy bear and has  a sweet personality.  Only 6 months old at the time of these pictures which were sent to me by my Sis.

 Sadie lives in a town called Sunriver with her Piano-teacher owner. Their home is large & rustic; and located next to a golf course. I'd been to the house, but this was a couple of years before Sadie was born. What I liked most about  it --other than that it was gorgeous and had two baby grand Steinway pianos in one room -- was the awesome & spectacular view of Mount Bachelor from the wall of large windows.
