SIU Weekend: Ketchup/Catsup, Blood, Campus Visit, Art

So, after unpacking at the Hotel, off we went to the College Campus. On the way there, we saw the world's largest Catsup or Ketchup Bottle; a Lawyer's office that I would never want to visit; and a waylaid moving van across the street from the lawyer's office (they may need to give him a call come Monday, ha!).  A sampling of the Campus' artwork, done by the students themselves.  Generally, the campus was very appealing.  Here's what I wrote on another blog:

I had a wonderful weekend. It's been six weeks and we were once again, WHOLE! I enjoyed this increasingly rare time together. About the University --- the campus was large, and attractive; it blended well with the wooded areas surrounding it. The buildings were newish, mostly low-lying and strategically placed to take advantage of the terrain. There were students' artwork dotting the landscape. They had a security system in place. Overall, I was impressed!
