Summer 2022: CJOY 30" Ceiling Fan

Amazon find by hubby!  The bedroom/office where we installed this small, lighted ceiling fan is 10 by 10-feet ... slightly bigger than the ideal 9 by 9-foot room CJOY recommends.

I just want it to be quiet and sufficient to keep hubby cool while working at home; or our grandkids comfortable while asleep during their visit this summer, Lord willing.  The price was reasonable at $130. Made in China 😐

BTW, my cuter choice -- but of a completely different style --would have cost us almost $900 thru Costco.

Home Renovation: James Hardie Cement Siding in Arctic White (Part 5)

Now that Spring is here and the weather is warmer, I will miss the snow 😁😆  Fear not -- our Hardie cement siding's color is called Arctic White -- so we will never be without that pretty white ❄⛄🌨 stuff, LoL.

Home Renovation: Black Vinyl Windows, BEFORE ( Part 1)

Before. This time around, no more grids!  The windows are colored black on the exterior, and white on the interior -- at the front of the house. They will be white on white at the back of the house.

Stay tuned for AFTER pictures of the new windows, as well as our new Hardie siding.

Home Renovation: James Hardie Siding, Before (Part 1)

BEFORE:  Work has been delayed for over a month!  We are finally scheduled to have our James Hardie siding installed this week -- Lord willing.  The multi-step process of our siding installation will finally begin, yay!

A run of many days with uncooperative weather (plus a lack of available workers) have pushed us further and further behind from even beginning this installation. Those on the cue ahead of us have also had to wait.  Rain, rain ⛈☔🌧 go away ...

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:

marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Before & After: Our Kitchen Renovation

There are times that looking to the past is a good thing.

Renovations are examples. Going to an open-concept plan was a correct choice for us. Our kitchen became Light, Bright, Airy.  I am thankful to the Lord; and to Andy & Lucas the workers.

Also,  better doing the project then, than now, with inflation nipping at our heels.

More work around the house is needed, of course.  It seems endless, with lots of money involved 😐 Someday the projects will be completed, Lord willing and as He provides.
