A historic and beautiful 3-bedroom/2 bath apartment on the ground floor level.

 Plenty of room for the 7 of us ( 4 adults, 3 kids).  Our young grandkids could run around, yell, and cry and not likely disturb anyone.  It was a cloudy and rainy week, though, but it was enjoyable in many other ways.

Berlin, Germany: Checkpoint Charlie Museum

 

  Merry Christmas!  I am extremely grateful for God's mercy in Christ by giving me my family, my grandbabies, my pets, my liberty --- my Life in general.  I need only to see our many pictures from the CHECKPOINT CHARLIE Museum to prompt even more gratefulness on my part. I currently have, thank God, what people in the past were desperate to obtain. They went through extreme danger or even death to have a brighter future for themselves and for their loved ones, or to have the basic human right of FREEDOM from the iron-grip of a Socialist government. Son's Free Bechstein Grand Piano

Impossible! It must be a God-thing. My previous encounter with a Bechstein Piano  occurred last year in MN at the lovely home of two kind Doctors whose son attends the same college as ours.

Hubby said Mr Doctor ordered his Bechstein Piano directly from Germany and took months to arrive in the US. I can only hazard a guess as to how much $$$ money $$$ it set him back, but I suppose he could afford it.

 My son and daughter in law did not need to order: their beautiful, re-built, C. Bechstein grand piano was literally handed to them -- for free (!!!) and included freight delivery up 3 flights of narrow stairs to their Wiesbaden apartment. Praise the Lord. God is good!! I am also very thankful that son can now make use of several years of weekly Piano lessons courtesy of the deep pockets of his good ol' mom and pop.
