We stopped by a Super
Walmart before going to the Dog-tober Fest event. We had yet to eat lunch after church services, and we were looking for something filling, yet cheap. Romy made a beeline for the Deli, and grabbed a foot-long regular sub sandwich. It only cost $4.99 and it looked sufficient for the 4 of us. On to another aisle for chips. I had a taste for something different, something that was a little healthier than the usual salty potato chips to balance out the sub sandwich. Aha! There they were:
Rice Works had a foot wide shelf-area of its products. The
Sea Salt chips sounded appealing. We also added the
Salsa Fresca. Each bag was $2.98. Next up, dessert. The clearance aisle had gourmet brownies for $2. We bought Pepsi for drinks and we had water in the car. Done! We were set, and we were ravenous!
There was no entrance fee to the Doggy Fest. Our lunch tasted even better after that great news.
