Recital: Frederic Chopin's Nocturne & Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance

Wheaton College's Community School of the Arts (CSA) Recital last night.
Jared & Jillian playing a Piano duo of  Johannes Brahms' "Hungarian Dance"
Farrah played 2 Piano pieces; Jill also played Frederic Chopin's "Nocturne, Op. 72, No. 1"

Jillian & Farrah's Spring Piano Recital: Hungarian by MacDowell

Great way to cap-off the semester! There were over 25 piano students. Jillian accompanied Farrah & another student, Annita. Even neighbors, Esmeralda and Esperanza, joined us in the festivities. I wore my new Target tie-dyed Maxi dress with a blue Chadwick jacket.
Praise God for music!

A & A Piano Recital: Fantasie Impromptu & Nocturne by Frederic Chopin

We were thrilled to have Mom, Dad, and Park Manor friends join us at the A & A Recital. It was held at Poplar Creek Church. It was a joyful, yet bittersweet occasion --- it's Camille's last piano recital before she goes to college in the Fall.  She played Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin; Jared played Nocturne Op 48 No. by Chopin; and AJ played Avalanche by Heller. Later, most joined us at home for dessert and the Apostle's Club dvd. We also gave out some of Mom's Green Onions. They were fresh & organic! DELISH!!!!

Jill's Honors Recital

March 1, 2009: Our terrific daughter, Jillian, playing the piano so wonderfully. She performed Edward MacDowell's Hungarian (Op 39, No. 12). This piece was also played by Kristi --- her first major piece under Mrs. Allison, way back in 1999. I've loved this piece since. Thank You, Miss C. Lim!
