Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Kitchen Renovation: Porcelain & Clay Chandelier by Lightexture

pc: Domino Magazine

A recent google search for basket lights (idea came from the show, Home Town) to go above our yet-to-be-built kitchen island brought the company - LIGHTEXTURE - to my attention.

Not a basket-light maker, per se, but even better, I hope.

Natural material, check. Hand-crafted quality, check. Unusual, check. Affordable, check. made in USA, check. Take a look at a snippet of their products below. Pictures by Lightexture.

I ordered their flower-like "chandelier" on sale at Houzz -- the very last one -- we shall see how it goes. My one worry is if the size is too small.  Will post it later, Lord willing.
