Rooster Day 2020 & MacKenzie-Childs

pc: MacKenzie  Childs
Rooster Days is a fun, local tradition that has been held yearly since 1931 in Oklahoma. Due to Corona Virus concerns, it was moved from May 2020 to September 4-6, 2020.

Alas, the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce had no choice but to cancel that event also. Awwwwwww. How disappointing!

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Broken Arrow’s Rooster Days 2020 is canceled, the city’s chamber of commerce announced Tuesday.
The festival’s 89th year planned to go on Sept. 3-6 but will now be waiting until next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rooster Days usually falls during Mother’s Day weekend but had been pushed when the pandemic began. (by FOX23.com News Staff )

Looking forward to hearing about the festivities in May 2021, Lord willing.  In the meantime, Here is one of my purchases from MC's recently held virtual Barn Sale -- Rooster Candle
This rooster candle is much nicer in person than in the web pictures. I like it so much that I wish I had bought two of these at the Barn Sale's discounted price.
