Useful!  I found a web site with an alphabetical list of over 250 H E R B S.  

When you click on the link for any of the herbs, it takes you to a dedicated page for that herb - and it is chock-full of information. 

Beware, they may have a section on the  "magickal" uses for a herb.  I am definitely not promoting that section at all. I am most interested in an herb's (proven) health benefits.
