My Sister: Courier of Good Things

Sis and family flew into town for a family wedding. She hand-carried a delicate, big Jade Plant   onto the plane for me,  thus making it quite special.  I think I shall name it "Camilla" (after one of her beloved deceased dogs). May it live long and prosper!

Sis propagates Jade plants and sells them locally.

Interesting note:
she leaves the plant(s) on her front porch for the Buyers to pick up. She watches the transaction in the comfort and safety of her own home via security cameras.

On her return home, she had a large, gorgeous original oil painting by Agnes Rathonyi whom she saw in person at the WI art fair. They padded and packed the precious Artwork securely, checked it in, prayed for the Lord's protection, and had her hubby be first in line at the baggage claim area upon landing at the airport.

love at first sight!

packing painting good and tight
arrived safe and sound!

I intentionally did not mention to Sis beforehand of a friend who lost a precious original painting she had brought over from her trip to Italy. Maybe it was the airline's lax security measures at the baggage claim area or our friend's own neglect/fault, but it was gone, gone, gone.

Sis gave me yet another Jade plant -- for my birthday!  This time my Hubby was the courier after his trip to her neck of the woods (NW USA).
