RMS Titanic: Scheduled Arrival

via Choice Gleanings Daily Calendar

And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time. (Nehemiah 2: 6, KJV)

It was noon on April 10, 1912, when the Titanic left England for New York with 2,223 excited passengers. Tragically, their voyage came to a premature end when the ship sank on April 14. Many who thought they would arrive, did not. As you travel through life, you do not know when your journey will end. Make certain it ends in heaven. Repent of your sin and accept the Lord Jesus who said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6). —Arnot McIntee

Tomorrow’s sun may never rise,
upon thy long deluded sight;
This is the time, oh, then be wise!

Thou would’st be saved, why not tonight? —E. H. R.
