Charles Gustav Thorson was a Cartoonist and Illustrator from Winnipeg, of the province of Manitoba in the country of Canada. He was born on August 29, 1890 (128 years ago!).
Charles Thorson created prototypes of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and The Flintstones. Wow. I am so thankful he was born, and eventually moved to the US of A to work for Disney and Warner Bros! Many of us have had a childhood that was made richer/funnier thru the imagination and ideas of this man.
