My Trip to Paris: No Yellow Jacket Protestors In Sight

Drove from Wiesbaden to Paris (a distance of approximately 545 kilometers or 338 miles). It drizzled all the way there (and during most of the 5 days we were in the Paris area).

On our way, we stopped at 2 rest areas which were really just Restaurant with public bathrooms.  However, the stops will cost you: one WC required 10 euros to use; the other 40 euros. And this nickel-and-dime mentality is what convinced me more than ever of the good ol' US of A being economically better off than the ol' country, LoL.

No Parisian protestors in sight during our entire visit, thank God.
Hint: If possible, go to Paris on a weekday, not a weekend.  The Lord must have directed us in this regard as our visit was scheduled for Monday to Friday -- way before there was any hint of trouble.  As always, watch out for tricksters and pickpockets (at times one and the same).

Our visit to the Eiffel Tower was the one day that the sun broke through the clouds! The Paris bus tour was worth it. Thankful for the photographic skills of hubby.
