Health officials across the U.S. have been worrying for months that there won't be enough H1N1 vaccine to vaccinate everyone who needs protection against the flu virus. But there are indications that waning public concern could be creating a vaccine surplus, as 100 million doses are now available.
Poll: Are you worried about contracting H1N1?
Yes, and I intend to get the vaccine..................5%
Yes, but I still don't want the vaccine................7%
No, and I will not get the vaccine...................83%
I'm not sure. ..............................................6%
Total Votes: 9,742
Dr. Eisenstein's Comments: "90% of the people polled said that they will not get the Swine Flu Vaccine. This novel flu vaccine has not been properly tested for safety or efficacy, contains dangerous preservatives such as thimerosal and now the public is not interested. How awesome is that?!"
